Yes Garg ji but in our parts in Tamilnadu *Aegele marmelos* is called vilvam. This is one tree i know very well as lots of people in my family are very religious and use these leaves regularly and i live next to a Shiva temple.:) But as Dinesh ji has mentioned Craeteva seems to serve the same purpose. this also has made me realise that the tree i posted earlier, which is still under contentious id - *Craeteva adansonii odora *- was in front of a Shiva temple ! thanks every one. geetha
