Thanks for the detailed programme sir, we will be really benefited by the
experience of our experts...yes, there can be a confusion regarding grasses
and grass-like plants..simplest suggestion is to propose the week as
Poaceae and Cyperaceae Week or Grasses and Sedges Week. May be, we are also
able to find some more experts in this week, who are still behind the
screen. Besides Dr. Manoj Chandran we also have NS Dungriyal Ji with us to
help with identification of this difficult group.. this large and diverse
group can not be dealt with in a week,    therefore we are to extend the
time, of course all depends upon number of uploads we get...because
generally the grasses are overlooked by our flora visitors due to
non-attractive flowers, but I usually say, this is the plant family to
which we, the human beings, should feel most highly indebted..let us hope
for an interesting week...
