Many thanks for your reply.

Based on the long exserted stamens and style, I had thought S.coccinea.
The leaves and flowers  also seem to match other descs.  of coccinea  as in
Queensland AU Weeds

These plants are rather slender and herbaceous.

 I dont  find a description of S.greggi,  but the  images online show
flowers with  stamens just exserted or included.
