Leaves can be confusing. Earlier I went be the leaves and did not pay
attention to the inflorescence. Leaves in Heracleum and Angelica can be
very confusing.
Pl. check the inflorescence at Angelica oreadum
<https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/species/a---l/a/apiaceae/angelica/angelica-archangelica-subsp-himalaica>
and
Heracleum candicans
<https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/species/a---l/a/apiaceae/heracleum/heracleum-candicans-1>
and
you will understand the difference.

In Ashwini ji's thread, we both were confusing- when I suggested Heracleum
candicans
<https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/species/a---l/a/apiaceae/heracleum/heracleum-candicans-1>,
he stated Angelica oreadum
<https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/species/a---l/a/apiaceae/angelica/angelica-archangelica-subsp-himalaica>.
When I stated Angelica oreadum
<https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/species/a---l/a/apiaceae/angelica/angelica-archangelica-subsp-himalaica>,
he stated Heracleum candicans
<https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/species/a---l/a/apiaceae/heracleum/heracleum-candicans-1>
.
