Many thanks Sam ji for suggesting the Malayalam spelling of Konkani as *കൊങ്കണി* instead of കൊംകണീ. I am going to revise the spelling as suggested by you only in the future posts; it will be cumbersome revising all the earlier blog posts for that spelling change.
