Raghu ji, per what found on the internet .. *godda* could be an apt name for *Lannea coromandelica*, the wodier tree, other names in Kannada being: ಗುಮ್ಪಿನ gumpina, ಕುರಟಿಗ kuratige, ಉದಿಮರ udimara *godde* could be the grey downy balsam tree, *Garuga pinnata*, other names in Kannada being: ಅರನೆಲ್ಲಿ aranelli, ಬಿಳಿಗಡ್ಡೆ biligadde, ಕಾಷ್ಠನೆಲ್ಲಿ kaashthanelli ... but of course, being a native, you may please correct these names, if in error.
