Dear Ushadi,
If you have to wake up at 3.24 AM to respond to something someone has
written to you the previous evening, dear friend, you must be so
upset, that you have lost your sleep. That someone happens to be me
and I think I owe you an apology. Losing sleep happens to me
sometimes, rarely these days, but quite frequently some years ago. The
time mentioned is as per the time of receipt on my comp, if you are in
a different time zone, once again please ignore this.
Dear Ushadi, as a short tempered person, I had quite often hurt
others, and it was keeping that in mind that I wrote to you that his
English may not be good. I am neither an ecologist, nor a botanist and
I do not know the terms used in collection of samples (or specimens as
the experts call) and as such could have made that mistake. You
however are an accomplished person and know a lot. Knowing so much and
being an asset in the group, I think you should take such remarks in
your stride and carry on. Asking questions is definitely good, but the
manner in which you do is equally important. Ushadi, we are all your
friends and wish you good, so too, we are friends of each member of
eflora.
I request you to kindly go through some of your remarks earlier, some
of them are quite barbed, it could have hurt a few. We are all
fallible and we are all, every now and then committing mistakes, no
big deal as you have rightly put.
Communications amongst friends, is such a wonderful experience. You
have shared some wonderful moments from time to time, hope to see that
Ushadi more often. We all look forward to that. Cheer up, and let us
have one of those enlightening experience of yours while you were in
US for example. Incidentally, Happy Diwali.
Regards
Yazdy. :)
