Thanks Kiran ji for sharing. In Maharashtra, there is plan for planting billions of trees this year. One of my clients in Nagpur has taken responsibility for his city. When I examined the list of trees proposed by the planners I found large number of exotic trees. I have written to the planners directly to adopt indigenous trees that can manage mosquitoes, Noise pollution and industrial pollution effectively. Polyalthia is very effective against Noise Pollution. There are many wild Trees for Noise Pollution but it seems difficult to convince the planners having fixed mind set.
