I am taking it as *Elaeocarpus* *oblongus* auct. non. Gaertn. 1788 as per
referred book links given below & modifying efi site page accordingly to
https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/species/a---l/e/elaeaocarpaceae/elaeocarpus/elaeocarpus-oblongus-1
from
*Elaeocarpus* *oblongus* Gaertn. earlier:

http://books.google.co.in/books?id=eo-dTjK53O8C&pg=PA124&dq=elaeocarpus+oblongus&hl=en&sa=X&ei=BOS5UN_bF4r3rQeJzYDwDQ&ved=0CEMQ6AEwBw#v=onepage&q=elaeocarpus%20oblongus&f=false

http://books.google.co.in/books?id=pSXidQZupHYC&pg=PA191&dq=elaeocarpus+oblongus&hl=en&sa=X&ei=BOS5UN_bF4r3rQeJzYDwDQ&ved=0CDoQ6AEwBA#v=onepage&q=elaeocarpus%20oblongus&f=false

http://books.google.co.in/books?id=RA4Npohz4CEC&pg=PA473&dq=elaeocarpus+oblongus&hl=en&sa=X&ei=BOS5UN_bF4r3rQeJzYDwDQ&ved=0CD0Q6AEwBQ#v=onepage&q=elaeocarpus%20oblongus&f=false

The Plant list & GRIN only mentions *Elaeocarpus* *oblongus* Gaertn. I
think we (those who do not have botanical books like me) have to refer to
such book links in future to get correct species with proper author
