I suggest reporting these against the Debian package. Maintainers of
the glibc package will certainly report this upstream.

My suggestion, knowing that upstream may sometimes be a little bit
annoying about these issues, is to add weight by native speakers in
the bug report. Actually, Kartik, you should do the bug
report..:-)...if Bernard does it, there may be some objections that a
so evidently native French speaker is not qualified for correcting the
Gujarati locale.

Feel free to send a patched locale file. See the utility to convert
back from UTF-8 to Uxxxx notation, which I'll post as a followup to
the initial message of this thread.
