Dear friends, I communicate rarely and I'm really sorry for that. I contributed in Unicode code charts in Gujarati in the capacity of a Govt. person. The locale data used by LINUX is not exactly what the latest UNICODE code chart is offering. The example is sign of રૂ. Actually, this sign is Dirgha(long vowel of Gujarati 'oo'). The word ગુરુવાર is also not written as it should be. But we had to distinguish between these two conjuncts and we came to reach at રુ (r+u) and રૂ(r+o+o). Perhaps I can not explain you this time. But you can ask me more questions. I have questioned about correcting this local data in Linux to be reviewed to my Govt. counterpart woring on BOSS linux at CDAC. These locale data should have all the popular sequences of conjuncts equal to that of UNICODE.
