Has anyone tried AFS 3.4a under AIX 4.2?

Folks,

Transarc has announced a GA date of 9/96 for AFS 3.4a under AIX 4.2.
But in the spirit of never being satisfied, we were hoping there might 
be some way of running an AFS client under AIX 4.2 a little sooner.

Has anyone out there tried running the existing rs_aix41 AFS 3.4a client
distribution under AIX 4.2?  It would be nice to know if it actually works 
(albeit in a totally-unsupported kind of way... :-} ).
