Hello AFS users. I'm wondering if anyone has experience with putting
large numbers of users in a group. The manual for AFS 3.4 says that there
is a theoretical limit of 5000 users per group because the pts command
associated with the membership command can only display 5000 entries. Is
this limit real? Will pts insert more than 5,000 users in a group as long
as you don't try to display them? Could I put 13,000 users in a group?
Does anyone have ideas for how to set up large groups that exceed this
theoretical limit?
