  I'm not a CVS-expert, so maybe I'm mis-speaking here, but we definitely
use Krb4 with CVS.  We can probably dig up the diffs, as I think they were
made in-house.

| Yes, I know, plaintext authentication is bad, but the only other choice 
| is rsh. That's not a solution if you don't allow rsh through your
