Are there any plans to port AFS to Windows NT?
With Windows NT having built in TCP/IP, NFS and DCE RPCs it looks
like it might be possible to have at least NFS access to a
AFS/NFS translator, with klog runing on the Windows NT machine.
With NT running on DEC Aplha processors, which can go as high as
24,748 SPECrate_fp92 (July 1993 Rdb WORLD page 6), NT could put a
big dent into the workstation market. I would like to see AFS
access.
