Yes, you can use the MIT Kerberos libraries with the ".krb" versions of login and klog, however there are a few things to keep in mind. 1) The string-to-key functions are different, so any typed-in password will be different for klog/login versus the MIT Kerberos functions. 2) It may be difficult to create and change the srvtab files that MIT Kerberos uses. Other than that, I see no reason that it won't work. In fact, I've tried this before with success! Hope this helps.. -derek
