I certainly concur.  I tried for a number of months to get a news server
running spooling into AFS.  (Solaris 2.2, Solaris 2.3/ AFS 3.3 beta/AFS 3.3/
AFS 3.3a)  I've heard that people do it, but I can't seem to get past the
problems related to performace and the problem with callbacks.
