It would be even better if there was some way to specify the name of the
variable to set. The @sys and @cell variables would be a good start,
but it would be nice if I could set other variables of my choosing as
well.
For instance, how about a department variable (@dept) or a cluster
variable (@cluster) for sites who have files that are department or
cluster specific. These variables could be set for a machine in the
bootup rc scripts just like @sys can be set with 'fs sysname'.
Perhaps 'fs setvar dept mydept' or something like that.
