Running fms on compressing drives, like the EXB-8505, doesn't produce 
useful informaton.  See, it just writes zeroes out to tape, which the 
drive will happily compress for a _long_ time.  Instead, you should 
manually set the parameters based on the size tape you're using, and the 
mode you're using.  Note that if you set the size too large, and ever 
actually hit the end of the tape, the tape coordinator will get confused 
and the dump will fail.  Luckily, we've never had this problem, since 
we've always been able to fit our entire cell on a single tape.  
Hopefully someone else can give you reasonable settings.
