We don't replicate normal web pages; they're not important enough. For
important web pages, we took a different approach; we taught the web
designers about replication and gave them a separate web server that
points at the read/write volumes.

They *love* it.

They can make any changes they want and preview them easily in an
environment almost identical to the final server, back out without ever
affecting the user-visible view, and can time the release of new content
precisely to coordinate with announcements and events (we've given them a
tool to let them release the volumes whenever they want). They're
delighted with the planning and testing abilities this gives them.
