I have installed CVS v1.10 on SuSE 6.1, everything is set-up according
to the manual,
but when I type:
CVS -d :pserver:me@myserver:/cvsmaster/ Login
...and enter the password, I get the following message:
cvs[login aborted]: recv() from server myserver: Connection reset by
peer
This happens both from the local machine (I have even tried as root),
and
from Windows clients using Samba.
I am pretty sure I have set up users correctly, but am not 100% sure
about
the passwords, as you have to do some cut'n'pasting with them.
Does this error point towards a password problem?
