If you're not already using "cvs watch on", read about it, then use it.

Subject: edit / commit / unedit bug?
I have a group that wants to use CVS with strict locking of some files.
If I checkout a group of filed as read only, though. And then I
proceed to run:
cvs admin -l
cvs edit
vi blahblahblah
cvs commit
cvs unedit
the permissions leave the file editable! I think this is because
commit clears the watch and doesn't rechmod it. When unedit gets to
it, it doesn't know it's supposed to be read only... Yes? Anyone have
a fix?
