I just reported this bug a few days ago. I'm working on a patch. It should be
ready by the end of the week (actually, I have something now, but I haven't
tested it enough to be confident about distrbuting it -- if you want this
pre-beta version, ask and you shall receive). As a workaround, you can "cvs
watch on new-file" (after commit -- although I think it should work before the
commit as well).

Subject: Default watch on newly added files

Hi all,

What is the "standard way" to automatically watch on newly added files ?
A "watch on" on the directory before adding the file doesn't work.

My version of CVS :

Concurrent Versions System (CVS) 1.10 `Halibut' (client/server)

Copyright (c) 1989-1998 Brian Berliner, david d `zoo' zuhn,
                        Jeff Polk, and other authors

Thanks

Titou
