As I recall, only rtag is recorded in the history file, not tag. It
isn't clear why that is, and there was talk of recording tag as well,
but I don't think anyone ever did it. (With CVS 1.10.8, a huge history
file shouldn't cause a problem as long as the actual output from the
history command is reasonable size.)
