Set the permissions on the files in the repository to what you want the
working copies to have. I assume this will work for directories also.
When adding new files, ensure that they have the correct permissions before
their first commit. (I initially set up the repository here from files
stored on a smbmounted FAT16 drive. One of these days, I hope to finish
taking 'execute' permissions off all the source files...)
