Well, it seems that no one out there is doing this automatically with CVS.
At least no one who pays any attention to this list. :-)
I think this is not a trivial problem, and much better programmers than
I are battling this as well

I am not at all familiar with the internals of CVS, and only slightly
familiar with its use. So I pose the question: Would it possible to
enhance CVS such that inter-project dependencies are recognized, resulting
in additional required projects being checked out at the same time as the
target project? Are there other folks reading this that would find such
an enhancement desirable?
