I have CVS installed and working on a Linux server and am using WinCvs to access the repository. I would like to use a the lock-modify-unlock model rather that the CVS recommended copy-modify-merge model. Is this possible and if so, where should I start? What settings need to be changed? Any suggestions or recommendations are welcome.
