I can't help much but I guess I know why you get these emails: On 02.08.2007 you've sent an email to this list and I guess you were also subscribed back then. Now the cyrus-imapd project has moved to a new mailing list system and maybe disabled accounts have been changed to enabled somehow. BTW, I don't think local laws like DSGVO apply here as long as the server is not located in an area where the law applies.
