A friend is cofounder of a well-known security product company and looking for top-talent to fill the vacancies shown below. The following descriptions are taken from an e-mail I received announcing the vacancies.
If interested, please pass me your resume and I'll relay them. No guarantees -- I'm just the middle-man here. :) -rick infowarrior.org * Senior Researcher... You will basically be working with people whom I consider the best of the best when it comes to vulnerability research. These are the people that can handle any task thrown at them: reverse engineering binaries, discovering vulnerabilities, disassembling payloads, critical problem solving... I.E. How can we stop these X hundred of attacks without a signature that would have known about them? And the list goes on... You would be working with a group of people whom for the last 3 or so years have at any given point in time had knowledge of a vulnerability which would lead to remote SYSTEM compromise of any default installation of Windows. Beyond vulnerability research this is the team that has been able to drive the thought process around our products to make great advancements in the areas of vulnerability assessment and "intrusion prevention". * Researcher... You are our eyes and ears to what is going on with the latest vulnerabilities, trojans, worms, virii, exploits, spyware, security tools, etc... Anyone whom has a pen-testing background or done security consulting would probably work great for this position. * Programmer/source auditor... As a company that only makes products, no services, we are always looking for strong programmers or people whom are well reversed in source code auditing. * Manager type... Lets just say there are a lot of things going on and I am looking for a couple good people whom I can depend on to help manage various projects... Obviously you must be very familiar with security, more so the industry, however you don't necessarily have to be someone that's working in the weeds as it were... Basically someone that knows the difference between being a geek and running a business and how to blend the two... Locations: Southern CA You are a subscribed member of the infowarrior list.
