Tell me what email address to send my log file.
Howie.. I am sorry about the bashing.. Put yourself in my shoes... So far I
have taken your advice 2 times...and both times I find i have bigger
problems.. There were others on this list having the SAME problems or HAD
the same trouble i have had and iMS seams to push it away and say "just do
this and it should fix it" well...... I broke down and upgraded to RC10
now...im about to lose my job. Understandable?
Remember words are hard to "read" when they deal with emotions. I am calm in
my replys and only state my situation.. If i need to i will take all my
future posts to personal emails to tech support if you feel it would be
better for you and your company.
Just let me know...
greg

Greg,
I would like to help out, I really would - but I would also like to keep
things on a professional, non-confrontational level. I
really do feel that you've been bashing us a bit without cause. We are one
of the more attentive companies and have always helped
our clients as much as possible and have even added feature upon feature to
the product without an upgrade fee.
As far as what you are expreiencing now, I can't provide an answer without
you providing some details. I need:
- iMS version (I assume the latest RC but I don't know unless you tell me)
- Post log file
and, anything else that may help. Using 60-70% processor is not a problem
and no software that uses less than 100% can be said to
be faulty. So, that figure alone does not indicate a problem to me. Also,
when you assign more threads for the Post server to use,
the more cpu will be used when there are many mails to send.
