You can have one control file per domain even if the mail is customize by using qtokens.  Here's a basic example:

<cfquery name="clients" ...>
   select email, name, account from clients
</cfquery>

<cfx_imsmail query="clients" queryfield="email" qtoken_clientname="name" qtoken_clientaccount="account"
...
body="Dear <:clientname:>
here is your account number: <:clientaccount:>"
>

"iMS allows you to send personalized mail without making separate control files by using tokens or Qtokens.  "

I always thought if a mailing utilized tokens, then there was only one recipient per control file.  Do you have
any examples when this is not the case?

Most of our mailings, we insert tracking based upon the recipient, so we have thousands of control files
for each mailing. (i.e. one control file / recipient).  Is there another way to do this?
