Hi,
I've noticed this as well with 2.4c. Previously I was running 2.2 and this didn't
come up. However I also moved to a load-balanced server setup using Windows WLBS so I
was thinking it was related to that somehow. What it seems like to me is that iMS
can't bind to an IP address when it starts the first time.... or something network
related like that. I was considering making it dependent on another service first,
but not sure which one that would be (to insure networking is fully started before iMS
tries to start).
Helge and "montmica," do you have your SMTP servers set to use a particular IP address
or "any"? Mine are and I was also wondering if it was related to that since it's a
new thing for our setup as well. Hard to diagnose this because the servers don't
reboot often and it's an intermittent problem (has happened twice in maybe 6 reboots
total between 2 machines).
Thanks,
-Max
