[iMS] Bounce Processing

I'm curious as to how you all are handling bounce these days. I have not yet started processing the Error Codes and Error Messages but would like to start, My only concern, and correct me if I'm wrong, is that Error Messages and Codes are only available for immediate failures an not for delayed, returned mail. This makes it difficult to create a system to manage bounced email since some of the returned emails will have no Error Code or Message. I'm unsure how to represent that inside our app. I guess I code just say "Failed - No ErrorCode/Message Available." . Is this what y'all do?

My other question is, has anyone written a reg-ex or similar function (UDF?) to parse the FAILEDRESPONSELIST for an error code and error message? Care to share? If not, can any one contribute any suggestions on how that string should be parse to a) get the code and b) get the error message?
