I would like to show what kind of error occurred to my end user. From our log files (everybody please comment) it looks like 95% of the FAILEDRESPONSELIST messages do contain the 3 digit error code. It would be excellent to have the hard bounce / soft bounce logic. It's a most have for any serious email marketer - something they always ask about. Is anyone doing this with IMS?

Howie, any plans on incorporating the FAILEDRESPONSELIST param and messages into the Data.cfm template for delayed failures w. bounce@addresses? That would be excellent. Because, as is, we can only track immediate failures, which means we can not really accurately report hard & soft bounces to our end users.

There is no standard for bounced message content so there can be no error code. I usually suggest keeping a counter for
the number of bounces to an email address and disable the address if there are too many bounces in a given amount of
time.

I don't have such a beast but maybe someone else does...
