This isn't an "official" answer, but yes, just run the update.exe and install to the
same place as your existing iMS install. Of course it's never a bad idea to back
everything up before any change, but I've never had an issue with the installer.
You'll need to restart your CF Server first if a) you want to let the installer update
the CFX tags that come with iMS and b) the CFX tags are registered in CF using the
default locations which the iMS installer also uses (the .dll files will be locked by
CF if they've been used since the last CF restart). As for the beta, if you choose to
install it, just replace your installed exe with the one in the zip archive (I'd
rename the original so you keep a copy).
