My client recently sent a campaign to a list that had an extra space at the end of each email address. Consequently, the POST log was filled with MX look up failures for domains like "aol.com ". Notice the extra space.
It looks like, however (from Open Rates and Daily Stats) that all of the mail was actually delivered to the recipients. I guess this is because of the delivery on MX failure settings.
I did notice however that POST the log does not have any of the usual "Sent Successfully To" lines in it. Is this by design? Also, maybe future versions of IMS could trim the email address?
