Well, The latest Install of IMS 2.5c again corrupted my neo-runtime.xml file and stopped CFMX from starting.
I installed the IMS2.5c on 3 servers (two licensed productions servers and one dev license server).
On the two production servers I clicked NO for all of the "register dll with Cold Fusion Server". On the dev server I clicked OK for these prompts. And it is only the DEV server who's neo-runtime.xml file is now corrupt.
My opinions here, but I can't see how choosing to register them or not would have any affect on your XML file. Registering these DLLs only adds registry entries (i.e. it only works for CF5 and below).
I've installed 2.5a, b and c on my dev server running CFMX and I've yet to have any issues like this. In fact I've never had an issue with that...
