Title: GenePix Pro Update Available
Well, I see a Message-ID in my previous e-mail below that was generated by the list server itself.  Does it create one if a Message-ID did not exist in the original e-mail?  I am looking at other e-mails from the iMS list server and they appear to have Message-IDs from the originating server.

Howie,

I don't care about making a custom Message-ID, I just want iMS to create it. BTW, I am using iMS SE, I don't know if that makes a difference. I am sending this e-mail via my form using the CFX_IMSMAIL tag. Please look at the headers. I don't see a Message-ID.

Dave

The iMS SMTP server automatically adds a message id. If you send mail with the tag you can add your own message-id by specifying:

header_message_id="<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>"

Howie

I am not attempting to create a custom Message-ID, and AFAIK iMS should be creating it automatically. Below are the headers from an e-mail sent via iMS. There's no Message-ID, but I don't know why. I'm using CFX_iMSMail tag Version 3.3 beta-5, and I think the server is version 2.4.5.
