Dear UCA friends, It seems that God came to and for the Americans.

Best wishes, Peter +++++ Dear Friend; In the United States of America, July 4 is a date of great significance. On July 4, 1776, the American Colonies declared their independence from British rule. That day was only the beginning of an arduous path. But today, largely because of the deeds of courageous men facing overwhelming odds, America is a free nation. Almost 200 years later, Americans were able to come to the defense of their once bitter British allies--twice within the span of a few decades, and we now enjoy good relations and free trade with our cousins across the Atlantic. It is by the grace of God Almighty that Americans enjoy such a bounteous land of prosperity. Many, many Americans may forget to thank the Lord for His grace and mercy. But I pray that we will be faithful to praise Him that His "marvelous lovingkindness" is extended to those who trust in Him (Psalm 17:7). In remembrance of America's Independence Day, I also want to honor our soldiers who have given their lives, suffered great injuries, and left their families behind to defend our nation. Specifically, I want to say thank you to our soldiers now risking their lives, and to those who have given their lives, in the Middle East.
