Or perhaps, as a ministry option, we on this list could create a forum, and use our offlist contacts to get a diverse bunch of denominations represented on it.

Now don't you think *you're* being a bit naive? :-) After all, as you point out, anyone can lurk, plus every poster's address is visible. Who's to say someone on the list (lurker or not) wouldn't start an offlist conversation with one or more of those girls and subsequently set up such a date? After all, we're not safe just because we're christian!
