Yes. I just heard a fascinating discussion between Phillip Adams, Hugh McKay and Barry Jones in which each of them was bemoaning the fact that neither party was really talking about a vision for Australia. McKay made the point which has been echoing around the church for the past decade or so, that people are in a new phase of interest in 'spirituality', wholistic lifestyle choices, values etc. But as he went on to say, this consciousness has not entered the political debate.
