Long, This was exactly the issue with my production server. Launching the ferret server means that the app now loads in production mode (although I'm only using one mongrel at the moment I intend to use a mongrel cluster for roll out, so good to have it working!!).
However I now have a new problem, which is in both production and development, which occurs when I try to log in with one of the pre- loaded users. The error I get is 'Padding Check Failed' Any thoughts?
