I can get this working in console mode with the following command:

gpm -t ms -m /dev/cua0 -M -t PS/2 -m /dev/psaux

I can not get this to work under X yet, but according to the
3-button-mouse HOWTO XFree86 3.3.1 and higher has support for an Xinput
section. This section will allow you to define another mouse and both
could be used. If I try to start X with an Xinput section using the XBF
server it tells me that Xinput is not a valid section name. ???

Hope this helps.
