Actually I used Modem Configuration/Control Panel in X-windows to configurated
Psion Dacom Gold Card 56K modem. When I use command ls -al /dev/mo* /dev/cua?
/dev/ttyS? to check if cua1 and modem has linked, I saw the symbolic link:
    /dev/cua1 -> /dev/modem
But I still could not get this modem card work.

In addition, I tried following method:
(1) Download pcmcia 3-0-5 and unpacked under /usr/src and run "make config"
etc.
(2) In bios setup set com1 to "Auto"

One strange thing is that when I use "cat /proc/interrupts " to check IRQ
settings I found following output:
0: 124291 timer
1: 600 keyboard
2: 0 cascade
11: 2 i82365
12: 5954 PS/2 Mouse
13: 1 math error
14: 32625 + ide0
15: 0 + ide1

I did not find COM1 and COM2 IRQ. Is this abnormal. This is a typical Dell
inspiron 3200 w/266MHz Pentinum II CPU, and epuiped with com1. The modem card
is set to com2 under Windows 98.

Thanks for your assistance.
