Hello folks,
Happy (new) i7k user, it occurred to me that it would be a good idea to check if I
was still able to actually type UNIX commands.
I installed RH 5.1, with little problem (except that win98 doesn't want you to
create a partition easily, wonder why...).
I appreciated the useful information provided by Steve Hsieh's web page, I would
miss X without its help.
Now here's the problem: no way to get my PCMCIA modem to work.
It's a Psion Gold Card 56k, I installed the PCMCIA package, I tweak the pcmcia
config file as shown on the i7k page, but no result.
Did anyone succeed using a similar configuration ?
I thought that maybe the i7k's PCMCIA was different from the i3200's one, so that
the installation procedure may differ, but I have no experience concerning Linux
nor PC hardware. Any clue ?
