I've never really gotten a grip on the 'suspend' feature of my inspiron
3200. There's a switch built into the keyboard side of the machine that
detects when the screen is closed, and I guess that it is supposed to put
the machine into suspend state? Is it possible to disable it in
software/firmware?

Likewise, suspend and lock on the keyboard--are they completely
disable-able in firmware/software?

Thanks in advance.
