Kernel 2.2.0 and APM

[Jonathan Day-Reiner]

Has anyone tried compiling APM under the new 2.2.0 kernel on their inspirons?
I've tried about three times (on my 3.2k), and the poweroff on shutdown function
doesn't work. No problems under 2.0.36 though.
