The BIOS is at the latest revision.  Fedora, Windows, SuSe... they all 
work.  It's specifically the limited CDROM support built into the 
Solaris boot loader (Thanks to Tony Reeves).  Once the CDROM  was put on 
the first IDE channel internally it worked.
