My problem is that I'm not getting to the point that I can drop to single-user. 
 Upon boot, Grub loads and then I'm delivered straight to the grub prompt 
without passing go or collecting $200.  Based on where I'm at, Linux would 
require me to tell it where stage2 is, define root, setup the kernel 
information and all variables, and then boot... problem is I'm trying to boot 
off the CD to do an install and I don't know if the information that is 
normally used (e.g. kernel=/platform/i86pc/$ISADIR/unix -B $ZFS-BOOTFS) is used 
to boot from the CD too?  My assumption is no because, unless I missed 
something, we're not booting into a ZFS volume on the CD...
