I have a Solaris system running SXDE preview from early 2008. I had hoped to update it to 2008.11. However it looks like the 2008.11 installer wants to create a whole new Solaris partition. I have an existing Solaris partition with three slices: root, export, and spare-root. I can't lose the contents of export. I need to install Solaris into spare-root. That doesn't seem possible. Is there no way to upgrade my system? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
